Germany-based auto component manufacturer ZF announced acquisition of industrial gears and wind turbine gearbox business of Bosch Rexroth.
For ZF, the acquisition is an entry into the business with industrial gears that are used in oil rigs, mine vehicles, tunnel drilling machines, or cableways, for instance. In addition, the technology company is strengthening its wind turbine gearbox business.
The acquisition agreement was signed on 13th May. Both the companies declined to reveal the price of the acquisition.
