LG Electronics India announced the opening of its Air Conditioning Academy in Saket, New Delhi.
“India is a strategic market for LG Electronics and amongst the top five priority markets for LG globally. Hence, the company launched the ‘Air Conditioning Academy’ to enhance and develop the skills level of its personnel in the country,” the company said.
This is the second academy in India and the first in the North Zone. This academy will be utilised to cater to the North and East Zones. Prior to this LG had launched an academy in its Pune factory to focus on the West and South Zones.
Commenting on the occasion, Sang Bong Lee, President B2B, LG Electronics said, “Through the air conditioning academy, we want to enhance the installation and service skills of our partners, dealers as well as LG employees and contribute to PM Modi’s ‘Skill India’ initiative, which was launched to promote national skill development. This will enable the company to train employees by giving them a real time experience of the products in running condition. We have chosen to open the academy in the heart of the city at Saket, South Delhi. This is one of the most prime locations in the city and hence with our new agenda of ‘Skill India’, we would be able to reach out better to our key influencers such as consultants, architects, developers and clients and invite them to our prestigious academy to give them a first-hand experience of a variety of air conditioning solutions, as per market requirements.”
The entire air conditioning academy is spread over 3,000 sq. ft. and will showcase an entire range of LG India’s air conditioning solutions:
