Brose showcased strength [Feb 2012]

The international automotive supplier, Brose Group, presented its innovative portfolio to the Indian professional world at the Auto Expo.  Selected exhibits demonstrated Brose’s ability to perfectly coordinate its mechanical, electrical and electronic components and systems. In all product areas, the company has the know-how to develop and manufacture its entire portfolio in-house, from individual components to complete systems. Furthermore, all products are available in all regions with tailor-made processes and technologies for the global platforms of customers worldwide.
Brose in IndiaThe Brose Group has been present in India since 2006. Presently, around 150 employees are involved in the development of electronics, electric motors, window regulators, seat adjusters and closure systems for the Indian market and other Brose Group locations. The regional procurement activities are also controlled from here, as is the provision of IT services for the company group. In 2011, Brose opened its first production factory in the automobile city of Pune, where window regulators and manual seat height adjusters are produced for both for the local market and for export. Further customer projects will commence in 2012.

Portfolio for IndiaThe supplier presents solutions from its closure system and window regulator ranges which have been specially developed for the Indian market. The advantages on the one hand are that the cost-efficient products are adapted to suit the environmental and climatic conditions of the region, and therefore fulfil the local expectations of the Indian OEMs. On the other hand, they comply with international quality and safety standards, and are therefore suitable for use in export vehicles.
Lightweight without compromising comfort and safetyLightweight construction which is as cost-neutral as possible – without compromising safety and comfort – is one of the objectives of the system supplier’s development work. Weight-reduced window regulators and seat systems, door systems and intelligent holistic solutions for the rear of the vehicle fulfil these expectations and will be exhibited by Brose.
