Spur Gears: Spur gears are the simplest, and probably most common, type of gear. Their general form is a cylinder or disk. The teeth project radially, and with these straight-cut gears, the leading edges of the teeth are aligned parallel to the axis of rotation. These gears can only mesh correctly if they are fitted to parallel axles. Pragati Transmission manufactures durable and highly efficient spur gears upto 150 mm OD and 3.5 module in steel. These are used in Gear Boxes used in Machine Tools, material handling equipment, Gear Pumps etc.
 
Helical Gears: Pragati Transmission is a manufacturers and suppliers of Helical Gear. Helical Gears for industrial applications are manufactured to good quality standard and recommendations. The Company also manufactures gears as per customers’ requirement and specifications and also provides designing facilities for gears. These include standard range helical gears, shaft mounted gear and customised gear assemblies.
 
Worm Gears:  Pragati Transmission designs and engineers an extensive range of worm gears, available in different ratios in accordance to individual requirements. Worm gears are usually compact and serve as efficient means of speed reducers in diverse industries. The Company produces precision worms for Automatic Slack Adjusters employed in Commercial Vehicles. Pragati Transmission uses Tangential Hobbing method for cutting worms for high accuracy and surface finish.
