Freudenberg Medical, a manufacturer of medical and pharmaceutical devices, components, and tubing, has introduced HelixTC™, an over-moulded TC with silicone tubing designed for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications in India. This is an expanded offering from Freudenberg, adding to its pharma product portfolio of silicone tubing and fluid transfer products for bioprocessing, drug and vaccine manufacturing, filling, and sampling, peristaltic pumping, laboratory, and medical device applications.

Overmolded TC with silicone tubing is ideal for pharmaceutical bioprocessing applications since it gives assurance for a leak-proof critical fluid transfer like vaccines, biotech products, oncology products, and highly potent drugs.

This product line is most helpful for all the single-use processes and systems since it ensures a continuous and reliable fluid path without any leakages. It provides safety for the manufacturing process and the operators. These tubes are available in various customised options and stainless steel and polyether sulfone backup support. There are also braided and standard silicon tubing options available.
