Centrifugal pumps, dewatering pumps, self-priming pumps
In the summer of 1978, visitors to the Coimbatore hardware and sanitary market noticed cute little boxes, embossed with the words “Manufactured in India by Sharp”. With it, began an era of marketing branded Monobloc Water Pumps in India. Leading, in 1986, to the formation of Sharp Pumps Private Limited.
Self Priming Pumps
These pumps are suitable for handling clean water not containing abrasive particles and fluids, which are not chemically aggressive to the pump components. They are extremely reliable, light, economic and simple to use, finding many use in domestic applications, in particular the automatic distribution of water from surge tanks, watering gardens and for boosting insufficient main water pressure.
Centrifugal pumps
Centrifugal pumps have a rotary motion of a profiled impeller in combination with a shaped pump housing to apply centrifugal force to discharge fluids from the pump. They operate most efficiently in high-volume, low-output-pressure conditions, and unlike positive-displacement pumps, the flow may be controlled allowing flow to be completely closed off while the pump is running.
Dewatering Pumps – PF Series
Submersible De watering pumps are designed for pumping waste contaminated water, which may contain abrasive particles. The pumped liquid may contain particles up to a size, which corresponds to the openings in the strainer. These pumps are used for de watering of basements, cable trenches and low lying areas in residential and small commercial complexes. The motor is fitted with dual ball bearing running in oil bath and is protected with dual mechanical seal.
LF Tech Pumps
Openwell pumps are ideally suitable for where there are wide fluctuations in water level. This works under water and it rests at bottom of the well. Hence, suction and priming problems do not arise.
Multistage
Jet pumps are capable of handling all forms of motive fluid including gas, steam, or liquid. They are typically inserted vertically into the process media, but can be mounted horizontally as well.
