IEEMA appoints Vishal Gakhar as DG [May 2012]

The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) announced the appointment of Vishal Gakhar as Director General.  IEEMA is the apex body for the power equipment manufacturing industry in India. Prior to IEEMA, Mr. Gakhar was working with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and was responsible for heading the special initiatives and policy department in western region apart from handling sectors such as logistics, healthcare, infrastructure and verticals including sustainability, green business, and climate change.
