To inculcate the demand of miniaturisation of modules and devices along with the increase in connection density, Phoenix Contact introduces an innovative range of products – COMBICON Compact.
The range provides solutions with spring-cage, push-in and screw connection technology for all types of applications in building automation, analytical instruments and telecommunication where space saving is critical.
COMBICON compact with screw connectionPCB terminal blocks and connectors in the PT range offer an outstanding terminal block capacity in a compact design. It comprise of highly flexible conductor protection which provides easy connection. The all new PT 2.5 plug-in system is introduced with a facility of five plug-in directions and unrivalled flexibility. To avoid any miss-match a keying solution also introduced which protects four plug-in directions.
COMBICON compact with spring connectionFK-MPT Series: The range provides PCB terminals with spring-cage double connection technology suitable for a wire cross-section of up to 0.5 mm², available in 3.5 mm pitch. The series provides a facility to be soldered on to PCB directly or can be used as a plug-in solution with the help of header pin strips.
PTDA Series: The product range includes PCB terminal blocks with angled spring-cage double connection operated with a release button. The customer has options to choose between single or double connections. A double connection facilitates looping through conductors. The connectors are available in different pitches of 3.5 mm and 5.0 mm with direct mounting and plug-in methods suitable for the wire cross-sections from 1.5 mm² to 2.5 mm².
PTSA Series: The range provides PCB terminals with angled spring-cage connection available in 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm pitches, suitable for up to 1.5 mm² wire cross-section. The connectors are available in straight and zigzag pinning which provides increased dielectric strength and mechanical stability. Colour coding and mixed pitch are available as an option.
