In order to provide continual world-class services to its customers in India, TRUMPF established TRUMPF (India) Pvt. Ltd. (TIN) in July 2006 at Hingewadi near Pune, Maharashtra with an investment of $ 4.2 million. TRUMPF India serves as a platform for the Indian customers to upgrade their manufacturing set-ups to the latest technologies introduced by the Group. The Indian subsidiary is primarily concerned with Sales and Service for the South Asian market.
Over the years, TRUMPF India has been successful in building customer confidence and creating a win-win situation for the Indian sheet metal manufacturing sector and the group. TRUMPF has been well accepted in Indian Industry and has its presence for more than 20 years now. The company installed more than 600 machines in India which include laser cutting machines, punch press, press brake, hybrid machines (laser and punch press combination), 5-axis laser machines and laser welding machines.
The Pune facility set-up is empowered with a Solution Centre for customers to witness the machines and their capabilities. This Solution Centre is equipped with the facilities of laser machine, press brake, punch press machines, laser marking and laser welding machines. This in addition, assists to develop not only the existing customers, but also will be able to provide the entire solution to the exact customer’s requirement by manufacturing the product at the Solution Centre.
With a working area of 2500 sqm, the facility caters to the requirements of the Indian customers in terms of creating opportunities for witnessing the machine operations and training for customers.
