Omron showcases advanced solutions at PackPlus

Omron displayed its key strengths in the packaging automation segment like the pick and place scara robot, vision, safety and bottling solutions at the exhibition
 Reiterating its significant contribution towards packaging automation solutions, Omron Automation India is all set to ramp up its focus in the segment for FY 2014-15. This was shared by Sameer Gandhi, MD, Omron Automation India during the showcase of the company’s integrated packaging solutions at the renowned exhibition – PackPlus 2014.

Being one of the largest packaging, processing and supply chain events in India, PackPlus 2014  is known to bring together the worldwide manufacturers and providers of machinery, materials and services for packaging industry from India and neighbouring countries. The exhibition was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from June 11 to 14.
“Omron is well-known for its quality products and application strength in the industrial automation segment. Packaging solutions is one of our fortes worldwide as well as in India. Our SYSMAC platform gives value addition to the packaging industry by integrating logic, motion, vision and robotics together which enables customers to achieve higher machine speeds, greater accuracy, better quality and enhanced safety,” said Mr Gandhi.
The company’s strategy is to be the first choice as an Automation Partner for the packaging industry. This was well displayed at Omron booth at the exhibition which attracted many customers. The SYSMAC platform was also displayed by giving hands-on experience to the visitors on the SYSMAC software.
