Blaupunkt India unveils android based multimedia navigation system

 Blaupunkt, one of the world leaders in car infotainment and sound has launched its first android based double-din multimedia navigation system for the aftermarket – the Cape Town 940.  While the automotive industry continues to work towards realising a connected car experience, Blaupunkt has taken a big leap in this direction, with the launch of Cape Town 940.
Commenting on the launch, Preeti Bakshi, Marketing Head Blaupunkt India said, “The Cape Town is a major step change in functionality, performance and technology from today’s multimedia navigation radios on the market. The Cape Town 940, priced at Rs. 54,990, runs on the android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
