New Dosatron D3IL1O for better homogeneity mixing and D3TRE Teperature pump to supports 70°C, ideal for washing and industrial hygiene applications

How does Dosatron ensure the accuracy and reliability of its dosing pumps across various applications? 

DOSATRON is a hydraulic proportional pump. The motor piston is mechanically linked to the dosing piston, and the piston’s speed is proportional to the water flow. By maintaining Dosatron’s flow and pressure requirements, the dosage remains accurate and consistent. If the flow rate varies, the dosing automatically adjusts, eliminating the risk of overdosing or underdosing.

What recent technological innovations have Dosatron integrated to enhance pump performance?

We have incorporated a homogeneity washer in our new D3IL1O to improve mixing. Now, our Dosatron can operate up to 70°C instantaneously, compared to 40°C previously, with the D3TRE temperature series pump, primarily for washing machine applications.

How is Dosatron maintaining sustainability in its manufacturing processes?

Dosatron advises preventive maintenance to avoid issues. If the user follows the DOSATRON requirements, the pump will operate for 10 million cycles, which equates to 5 million litres of water.

How do you address the unique challenges of different markets, such as agriculture and industrial hygiene?

We have developed a range of products for the agricultural industry, including water treatment, animal health, and hygiene, each designated by a distinct label to differentiate them. Every model is designed to address the specific challenges of each segment based on feedback received from the field.

How are you using digitalisation and smart technologies to improve product functionality and customer satisfaction? 

We have developed an application that allows customers to track pumps by scanning a QR code. Through this app, customers can download part drawings, watch maintenance videos, and more. For the animal health market, we have developed a smart dosing pump with integrated electronics and software to access and record various data required by the customer.

How is Dosatron adapting its dosing technologies to meet the growing demand for precision and sustainability across global industrial markets?  

Dosatron’s precision has been the driving force behind the company for 50 years. All pumps undergo endurance testing and are improved if necessary. We can ensure 10 million cycles. All parts of our pumps are replaceable, and our strong partner network enables us to provide spare parts promptly.

Dosatron has built its reputation on non-electric dosing technology. How are you evolving this solution to meet the demands of high-precision industries, such as pharmaceuticals and food processing?

Dosatron’s precision is recognised worldwide. We are developing additional systems to monitor the pump, which is expected to be available next year for the industrial market, including pharma and food processing.

What is Dosatron’s approach to product development and staying competitive in the global market?

We assess the competition worldwide regarding functionality, pricing, and reliability. When starting a new project, we conduct a global customer voice campaign to understand their needs and requirements. If we can develop a product that meets those expectations, we move forward with the project.

How does Dosatron maintain strong global relationships and expand its customer base across different markets?

We meet our distributors worldwide at least once a year and participate in exhibitions across all sectors to connect with potential local customers.
