Enlight Metals Enters Cable Tray Aggregation; Expands Focus on Value-Added Steel Solutions

Enlight Metals Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading metal aggregators in Pune, has forayed into the cable tray aggregation business, strengthening its transition from a raw material supplier to a comprehensive steel solutions provider. This move marks a key step in the company’s long-term strategy to offer project-ready components to industries and infrastructure projects across India.

With strong sourcing capabilities, established relationships with OEMs, and deep understanding of industrial requirements, Enlight Metals aims to streamline the cable tray procurement process for electrical EPCs, renewable energy developers, industrial automation firms, and infrastructure contractors. The company plans to serve high-demand regions including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.

“Our core strength lies in material sourcing and supply chain efficiency. The next phase of growth is about value-added aggregation. The cable tray category is a natural fit given our client base and the volume-driven nature of the business. The company’s cable tray offerings will include perforated, ladder, wire mesh, and solid bottom trays, along with accessories. These will be available in pre-galvanised, powder-coated, and hot-dip galvanised variants to suit different project specifications. Enlight will partner with certified manufacturers to ensure compliance with IS 1079 and IS 513 standards.

An initial investment of ₹5 crore has been committed towards building aggregation infrastructure, vendor integration, and working capital. ERP-backed systems will manage inventory and delivery schedules for faster turnaround and better client servicing.
