In an interview with OEM Update, Shailesh Mehta, Director of Mehta Cad Cam shares his views on how ‘Make in India’ program draws the attention of the world and India being a big consumer.
‘Make in India’ draws global investment to India‘Make in India’ has not just got popularity for Indian manufacturers but also from all over the world as well. As such India is already in the mind of big international manufacturers for their next venture or investment in India. There is a huge revolution, development going in each area like infrastructure, telecommunication, education, defence, engineering etc. Young generation in India are very enthusiastic, ambitious, energetic, educated and trying best to expand their business and industries.

To get this opportunity all big international brands in different field would definitely like to establish their plants in India and they will not just fulfil the need of Indian market but also of neighbouring countries as well.
Good opportunity for Indian manufacturers ‘Make in India’ is a great life time opportunity for Indian manufacturers in the next ten years to expand their business to the highest level possible. Strengthening or expanding the manufacturing facilities to fulfil increasing huge demand of India will also make them capable to feed the world market. All Indian manufacturers should also start exploring export market as India is going to be the second largest exporter in the world and because of many strong points of India that it can go ahead than even Chinese exporters. Also due to certain strong attitude of new generation like hardworking, education, simple life style, family culture, focused, availability of resources, Indian manufacturer will rule all over the world as example our software industries.
