India has emerged as a more promising nation when it comes to justify the investment and give the return reasonably up to expectation.
Dr. Arvind Patel, Managing Director, Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd. (SLTL)
The most essential matter about optimising the “Make in India” initiative to the fullest is in-depth awareness of policies and guidelines as per the sectors. Dr. Arvind Patel, Managing Director, SLTL underlines the importance of awareness about policies and guidelines in making the most of “Make in India”.
Setting the industries on progressing pathIt’s been 18 months since the “Make in India” initiative made open and there is a lot of movement it has brought along across the Indian industries. The policies under the roof of “Make in India” have been leading the business to go beyond the conventional. After facing a slowdown effects few years back, the campaign has rekindled the spark amongst the industries and helped many businesses to revamp. While setting the industries on progressing path, the government is aiming to let the progress reach to the bottom level. This means they have shifted focus on small and medium size enterprises where potentiality lies in abundance, counting all of them as whole. Enhancing capacities, improvisation in qualities and uplifting benchmarks are the core elements of the initiative and after such period of time it is being inaugurated, one thing we can surely say that these elements have not stayed in the policy papers, they have certainly taken to the implementing phase.
Success lies in awarenessThough the explanation of ‘making most’ may differ from industry to industry, the basics will remain same for all. The most essential matter about optimising the initiative to the fullest is in-depth awareness of policies and guidelines as per the sectors. For instance, if we take steel industry, what are the actions being taken by government, the policies, the benefits and also the motive behind all mentioned aspects. Understanding of all these things will give us the clarity of thought. It helps us to align our ambition in sync with the “Make in India” campaign so that we can garner the best potentiality out of it. While the implication of the strategy, we must monitor them whether it is going out of track or not.
India has emerged as a more promising nationPast the launch of “Make in India” campaign, India grabbed the attention of global investor on a high note. The campaign has come down as promissory factor which ultimately given them hope let alone considering the trust. It has provided much vital assurance to those investors that their fund is going to be safer than ever before. It’s not been long ago since the “Make in India” has begun and we have some top notch organisation on the board. It shows the potentiality this program holds that has significantly changed the route of numbers of MNCs. There are plenty of the global organisations set to establish manufacturing units or either partner with the domestic player for harnessing huge opportunities. India has emerged as a more promising nation when it comes to justify the investment and give the return reasonably up to expectation. It has not made the India outperformer over night, we sustained few economic crises quite effectively in the past and our humongous population has turned out to be boon to take on those financial distresses. All it provided is confidence in the mind of those global giants about our capacity to grow exponentially while the rest are fighting for the stability.
SLTL’s “Make in India” initiatives The core motive of “Make in India” is to make the nation self-sustainable in production and become a global manufacturing hub. The campaign has begun to shine as it managed to get noticed at the earlier phase and seems quite promising to drive desired outcome. SLTL has decided to keep India and to be specific Gujarat its operation base. As a matter of fact, the company has been following the philosophy of ‘Made in India’ for more than 25 years.  Every single product bearing SLTL brand is manufactured in India which goes to the domestic as well as international clients. Moreover, SLTL as a company stands for a value which is empowerment and to bring self empowerment amongst the people working in various industries it has initiated certificate programs. To support the government’s ‘Skill India’ campaign, SLTL has started to improvise and recognise the skill of people working across the industries under the name of I-KVK. ——–
