Renishaw India to debut robot calibration at Automation Expo 2025

The Automation Expo 2025 is happening between 11th and 14th August 2025 in Hall No. 2 | 3 | 6, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, from 10.00 AM TO 6.00 PM. Renishaw will be present on Stall M-05, Hall 3. 

Renishaw, a global engineering technologies company, announced its inaugural participation in Automation Expo 2025 in Mumbai. The company will showcase its groundbreaking RCS product series for industrial robot calibration, alongside its extensive range of position feedback encoders and the Equator™ flexible gauge.

Pioneering robot accuracy and efficiency

The important aspect of Renishaw’s exhibit will be the RCS product series, designed to enhance the precision and efficiency of industrial robots. Dr. Kevyn Jonas, Director of Renishaw’s Industrial Automation Products Division, expressed enthusiasm for the launch: “India’s leading automation trade show is the perfect launch pad to introduce our RCS robot calibration product series to the Indian market. Unveiling three key RCS products

Renishaw will officially unveil three new products within the RCS series at Automation Expo 2025:

• RCS L-90: A portable, single linear ballbar toolkit designed for efficient tool and part frame set-up, tool frame verification, and robot joint repeatability tests.
• RCS T-90: A portable tri-ballbar toolkit offering advanced calibration capabilities, including TCP reorientation, robot mastering, and robot recovery functions.
• RCS P-series: A brand-new range of robot-specific probes and tool setters. These come with options for hard-wired, radio, and optical transmission, and offer dual mounting options, enabling automatic location of tool and part frames, and autonomous recovery routines.

Driving India’s automation evolution

Dr. Jonas highlighted India’s evolving role in the industrial automation landscape: “India’s role within the industrial automation market is rapidly changing and expanding, particularly within the automotive industry and electric car production. Renishaw’s metrology expertise enables us to combine robot accuracy with repeatability to rapidly advance automation.
