Varroc welcomes legal expert Akshaykumar Chudasama as independent director

Varroc strengthens board with the addition of Akshaykumar Chudasama, a seasoned legal expert with extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

Varroc, a global Tier-1 automotive supplier, appointed Akshaykumar Chudasama as an independent director on the board, effective May 29, 2025. This move aims to strengthen governance, enhance international business expertise, and boost stakeholder confidence aligned with Varroc’s growth goals.

Tarang Jain, Chairman & Managing Director of Varroc, welcomed Akshaykumar, highlighting his strategic insight, legal expertise, and governance experience as valuable for Varroc’s growth.

Akshaykumar expressed his honour and enthusiasm to join Varroc’s Board, looking forward to supporting its innovation, growth, and global expansion.

With over 30 years in law, Akshaykumar holds a BA from St Xavier’s College, University of Bombay, and an LLB from the London School of Economics, University of London. He is an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and a solicitor with the Law Society of England and Wales.

He currently serves as Managing Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., leading its Mumbai Region, and is renowned for his expertise in cross-border mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions.
