Structural castings of EVs are large and complex, with multiple cavities and areas that need to be de-flashed and de-gated.

Grind Master has pioneered robotic fettling of castings in India, with patented adaptive grinding processes that take care of variations in the casting. With expertise in fettling and de-gating various types of aluminium castings like cylinder heads, crankcases, clutch housing, and alloy wheel, Grind Master is proud to introduce such fettling automation in EV parts. We have specialised software for the optimum fettling of a complete range of castings. Machines are modularised, and the selection of the tool and process applications for the specific casting determines the modules to be used in the machine.
