VECV and Statiq collaborate on EV charging station

VECV partnered with Statiq to improve EV charging access for Eicher and Volvo electric commercial vehicles across India.

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EV charging solutions provider Statiq to support the adoption of Eicher’s electric vehicles, including the new Eicher Pro X range of Small Commercial Vehicles. The partnership will provide charging access for Eicher and Volvo truck and bus customers across Statiq’s network of over 8,000 charging points nationwide.

Statiq will be one of VECV’s preferred partners for supplying and installing AC and DC chargers. The companies will integrate Statiq’s network with the My Eicher app, providing real-time charging station visibility, navigation, and tariff details. Promotional offers and preferential tariffs will be introduced for Eicher operators.

VECV and Statiq will build a support system including call centres, service ticket management, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. A dedicated Point of Contact system will be implemented. Statiq will map charging hubs with infrastructure and parking spaces on the My Eicher platform. The partnership will also involve turnkey projects for the installation, operation, and maintenance of charging stations, along with shared infrastructure, mobile charging, and revenue-sharing models for channel partners.
