igus is a manufacturer of high-performance polymers for movement based in Cologne, Germany. ​They have been developing and producing motion plastics, innovative products made of lubrication-free plastics, since 1964. They​ offer energy chains, cables, plain bearings, lead screw technology, robots, and intelligent sensors that help customers improve their technology and cut costs. Most products are manufactured with the injection moulding process, which is where the company gets its name: igus = “Industriespritzguss” (industrial injection moulding).
