Aequs is, thus, able to offer its customers, including all global Aerospace OEMs, including Airbus, Boeing, Collins and Safran, to name a few, the benefit of such an environment. At the same time, given that most intermediate-stage manufacturing processes are conducted at different units within the same campus, the Aerospace components manufactured at BAC have a low carbon footprint.
Airbus was the first to recognise Aequs for its unique approach to Aerospace manufacturing by conferring the Airbus Innovation Award in 2016, which Aequs cherishes today. Set up in 2009; the BAC is India’s first Notified Precision Engineering SEZ and a unique Aerospace ecosystem comprising thirty-plus manufacturing units today. Spread over 250 plus acres, it offers customers a vertically integrated manufacturing value chain within the same campus. Due to these numerous co-located manufacturing units, the ecosystem players can work seamlessly.
