NORD DRIVESYSTEMS, a drive specialist to first surpass Sales of more than $1 bn

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will first surpass the 1 billion euro sales milestone before the year 2022/2023 comes to a close.

The company sees this as confirmation from its customers: Gernot Zarp, Managing Director Sales, emphasises “This shows how well our drive is working.” solutions meet the requirements of the various industries and how much NORD is valued by its customers as a reliable and competent partner.”

NORD develops and manufactures drive systems consisting of gear units, motors, and drive electronics for more than 100 industries. Providing customised solutions for a wide range of requirements is just as important to the drive specialist as increasing the energy efficiency of its systems and reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) for its customers. An example of this is an innovation such as the IE5+ permanent magnet synchronous motor. This new NORD motor currently exceeds the highest defined efficiency class for motors. It is also in high demand due to the current very high energy costs.

Zarp says “We also see the sales development as a recognition of the well-known NORD product quality.”   Thanks to the high manufacturing depth, the company produces most of its components itself in its own production facilities with its highly qualified employees all over the world.
