“2012 is a significant year for us as it marks the beginning of 12th Five year plan for the industry. This lays down the vision to increase our share from 16 per cent to 25 per cent by the year 2025. The aim can be achieved by constantly organising various initiatives by the industry. Such events witness better partnerships, advanced technologies, increased momentum and business confidence leading up to progressive changes in the industry, better quality, enhanced efficiency and increased productivity”, said Vikram Sirur, President of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA).
This exhibition will host group participation from United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). This group comprises of several small scale machine tool manufacturers who will seek an opportunity to showcase their technology upgradation at the exhibition. This technology upgradation was manifested as part of a unique project which was supported by UNIDO and IMTMA two years back.
