Beckhoff’s new innovations create an impact at the Automation Update 2022 seminars

This was the first offline event since 2019 which  proved to be the most needed networking event in 2022 giving opportunity for the participants.

Multi city events were conducted by Beckhoff across the Indian cities starting at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune and Mumbai by Beckhoff Automation team. Despite uncertain rainy conditions at all cities the customer attendance count and their enthusiasm and interest in new innovations in Automation technology was noteworthy.

The objective of the physical events was to showcase and demonstrate in person latest product updates and technology developments from Beckhoff in past 2 years. Another objective of these physical events was to meet the customers and reassure them all the measures undertaken at Beckhoff Germany and locally to overcome the delivery crisis faced by industry.

400+ registrations were logged in with 300+ attendees across the industry segments, business segments and sizes in India. The event brought together practicing automation engineers from the end users, manufacturers, R&D engineers, machine designers, control system experts, system integrators and academics. This was the first offline events since Sept 2019, and it proved to be the most needed networking event in 2022 giving opportunity for the participants.

Happy faces of attendees spoke volumes about their interest and satisfaction while networking in person be it over a welcome cup of tea and snack in the morning or over the sumptuous lunch. Watching the technology product demos was seen as most interesting by all participants. Most interesting demo was the AI-ML application demo for 2 machines, one local and one remote. Other interesting demos were about AMI812x integrated servo drives, CX7000 -compact PC based PLC , IoT, Precision weighing solutions etc.

All events began with an opening address by Mr. Jitendrakumar Kataria -Managing Director and were followed by a series of presentations / videos about Industrial PC /Embedded PC product update, IO product update, TwinCAT product update, Motion product updates. This was further followed by XTS-XPlanar product updates and climaxed with MX-System and ATRO presentations.

Questions were put up by attendees on almost every topic and were answered satisfactorily by experts. Tables with live demonstrations of Beckhoff products were the point of attraction and made the attendees engage with Beckhoff team even after the lunch trying to understand how the features demonstrated could benefit them in their business. Many have asked Beckhoff team to visit them and discuss new projects. Certainly, the level of interest shown by all attendees was extremely satisfying and motivating to Beckhoff team.
