Continental India bags Multiple Wins at the Zinnov Awards

Continental has won awards in three categories this year: Aatmanirbhar, Next Generation Women Leaders, and Technical Role Model.

 Technology Company Continental bagged three awards at the 2021 edition of the Zinnov Awards. The awards were won in the organisation wide category – Aatmanirbhar, and in the individual categories – Next Generation Women Leaders and Technical Role Model (subcategory: Established). These coveted awards, instituted by the leading global management and strategy consulting firm Zinnov, recognises Indian R&D centres and the individual leaders who have created an impact on the technology ecosystem and at the global scale every year.

Speaking on the award win, Latha Chembrakalam, Head of Continental Technical Centre India (TCI), said, “Technical Centre India has been demonstrating R&D prowess consistently, resulting in a remarkable growth story both in terms of engineering competence and organisational excellence. Continental received the Aatmanirbhar awards for creating a large-scale impact by conceptualising, designing, developing, and manufacturing products from India. With the “in the market, for the market” approach, Continental has built competence over the years and has focused on localising its entire value chain, starting from local business development to engineering and from local purchasing to manufacturing. The company also has a dedicated local R&D to support business units in the local projects to test and validate the products.
