Continental sets up Oxygen Plant at Victoria Hospital, Bengaluru

Technology Company Continental inaugurated a new Oxygen Plant at the Victoria Hospital.
The plant, which has a capacity of 500 litres per minute (LPM), has been commissioned at the Institute of Nephro Urology in Victoria Hospital. It was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Keshavmurthy, Director In-charge, Institute of Nephro & Urology, Bengaluru; Dr. Pradeep MS, Professor and HoD Anaesthesiology, In-charge Medical Superintendent, Institute of Nephro & Urology, Bengaluru; Sreenivas, KAS, Administrative Officer, Institute of Nephro & Urology, Bengaluru representing Victoria Hospital and Sriram Ananthanarayanan, Program Director United Way, Bengaluru, the implementation partner of the project.
“Continental as a company has always embraced its responsibility towards the society it operates in and intends to support builds a resilient community. Towards this, we have inaugurated the new oxygen plant at Victoria hospital. A second one is also being commissioned in the Northern region. Our intent is to support the medical infrastructure of the country to be ready for any possibility of a third wave of the pandemic, “said Prashanth Doreswamy, Country Head Continental India and Managing Director Continental Automotive India.
