JK Tyre partners with EKA Mobility for a cloud-based monitoring solution

JK Tyre & Industries has partnered with EKA Mobility, a leader in the electric mobility sector, to offer “Connected Mobility Solutions,” a cloud-based monitoring solution.

JK Tyre & Industries, a key participant in the Indian tyre business, has partnered with EKA Mobility, a leader in the electric mobility sector, with equity partners Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands).

This partnership strengthens JK Tyre’s position as the industry leader in offering “Connected Mobility Solutions,” a groundbreaking cloud-based monitoring solution. The company’s mobility solutions programme includes complete tyre management. The long-term deal was inked in Pune by Sanjeev Sharma, AVP of Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions at JK Tyre, and Vijaykumar Yelne, President of EKA Mobility.

JK Tyre offer EKA’s fleet with a new generation of EV tyres equipped with Connected Treel Sensors for real-time monitoring. JK Tyre has dispatched a dedicated team of seasoned personnel to provide 24-hour support at the depots and enroute assistance. Beginning with the presently deployed fleet in Mumbai, the business will provide complete support for EKA’s fleet in all cities.
