Kennametal India to introduce wear-resistant solutions at Valve World Expo 2024

Kennametal India Limited will showcase its wear-resistant solutions at the Valve World Expo India from 19-20 September 2024.

Kennametal India Limited will showcase its wear-resistant solutions at the Valve World Expo India from 19-20 September 2024 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, featuring Conforma CladTM technology and StelliteTM components and materials for superior wear protection in demanding environments.

MT Swamy, Director of Sales, said, “India is expected to grow significantly over the next few years due to major capacity enhancements and greenfield projects in the energy sector, providing tremendous opportunity for Kennametal’s innovative wear-resistant solutions. Our solutions, including tungsten carbide, Stellite, and Conforma Clad, are proven to enhance component life between changeovers, increasing productivity for our customers.” 

Kennametal will also highlight carbide cages, seats, gates, and plug stems, which are designed to deliver maximum uptime to severe service applications by extending the life of critical components and equipment. Conforma Clad cloth and cladded butterfly valve segments, liners, and discs will be included in the company’s showcase of Conforma Clad technology for petrochemical applications. This cladding extends life by approximately three to five times in high-temperature erosive, abrasive conditions. 

Kennametal’s Stellite products, including hardfacing cobalt-based alloys in rods, wires, powders, and electrodes, are available for attendees to learn about. These alloys, with over 100 years of proven performance, are preferred for wear, heat, and corrosion applications across industries.
