Krosaki Refractories gets new boss [Oct 2011]

HM Nerurkar, Managing Director of Tata Steel, has been appointed as the chairman of TRL Krosaki Refractories

with effect from 27th August. He took over from Dr JJ Irani who was the company’s chairman for last 28 years. Mr Nerurkar joined Tata Steel in February 1982. He was appointed as the vice president (Kalinganagar project) in November 2004 and rose to the position of chief operating officer (steel) in September 2007. He became the executive director on the board of Tata Steel in April 2009 and on October 1, 2009, took over as the managing director, in charge of India and Southeast Asia operations.
