REpower wins 47 MW order for wind projects in France [Nov 2011]

REpower Systems SE has concluded a contract with La Compagnie du Vent, GDF SUEZ Group for the delivery of a total of 23 wind turbines. The turbines are to be installed in two wind farm projects in the French Burgundy region; 15 turbines of the MM92 type are destined for the wind farm La Bretelle, eight turbines of the same series are to be erected in the project Echalot. The wind farms will generate a total output of more than 47 MW. With a hub height of 100 meters and a nominal output of 2.05 MW each, the first delivery for the construction will start during summer 2012 and the commissioning is planned for December 2012.
