The new Compact SESTO Magnus allows versatile, limitless configurations on one single autonomous platform.

One of Singapore’s leading autonomous mobile robot company SESTO Robotics (SESTO) has expanded to Europe, partnering with the Germany-based automation specialist Baumüller, to bring its flagship AMR SESTO Magnus to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. SESTO is the first Singapore-based robotics company to offer autonomous mobile robot solutions focused on smart manufacturing in Europe.

Equipped with 270⁰ 2D LIDARS on the front and rear, SESTO Magnus ensures safety with its improved navigation and obstacle detection capabilities. For example, in a busy narrow corridor, Magnus will stop when it detects an obstacle in its path, for instance, a trolley, wheelchair, or person. It will wait for the obstacle to be cleared or reroute its path if the obstacle is not removed after some time.
