Tata Motors, NEDO develop dual-fuel power plant in Pune

Tata Motors and Japan-based NEDO developed an environment-friendly dual-fuel based power generation facility at Tata Motors’ Pune plant to produce power through clean environment technology. Two 2.5 MW diesel electric power generators sets were identified for conversion into dual-fuel generators, using natural gas as the main fuel and diesel as the pilot fuel. The project has become successful for operating DG sets on natural gas and light diesel oil.
