VE commercial vehicles deliver 50 CNG Eicher buses to central Pune Bus service

VECV takes next step by delivering 50 Eicher CNG air-conditioned buses for central Pune Bus service: Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited.

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) delivered 50, 24-seater Eicher CNG AC Buses to Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML). These buses were flagged off by Devendra Fadnavis and Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil in Mahatma Phule Mandai, Pune. These passenger and environmentally friendly vehicles will operate in central Pune namely, Deccan to Pulgate, Swargate to Pune Station and Swargate to Shivajinagar. With this delivery VECV continues to support the modernisation of sustainable urban mobility solutions in the country.

Developed on Eicher’s latest innovative BSVI solution, EUTECH 6 and powered with the robust and reliable E483 CNG engines delivering 115 HP @2600 rpm and peak torque of 360 Nm@1600-2000 rpm, Eicher CNG Buses are packed with best-in-class technology. All buses come equipped with Eicher Live, India’s leading telematics solution connected in real-time with the Eicher Uptime Centre which provides remote bus monitoring and predictive diagnosis to reduce abrupt breakdowns. The compact size and turning radius of this 24-seater AC bus will be ideal for navigating on congested narrow roads. VECV offers a wide range of CNG buses including Starline and Skyline Pro CNG chassis.

The Committee Chairman of Pune Municipal Corporation Standing, Mr. Hemant Rasne said, “These air-conditioned buses with a seating capacity of 24 passenger, will help reduce traffic congestion on narrow roads. The CNG operated buses will be available every five minutes on main roads and every fifteen minutes on internal roads.”
