WIKA India shares insights on innovations and future growth plans

WIKA India’s in-house press conference at its Pune Plant highlighted its growth, future investments, digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and market expansion, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, localization, and customer-driven solutions across industries.

WIKA India hosted an in-house press conference at its Pune Plant on February 12, 2025, bringing together esteemed representatives from leading media houses. The event served as a strategic platform for discussing WIKA Group’s journey, WIKA India’s sustained growth, and its future roadmap in the Indian market. Some of the key announcements included future investment plans, upcoming product launches, sustainability initiatives, and new market segment focus.  

The press conference facilitated an open dialogue between the media and WIKA’s leadership. Senior executives in attendance included Gaurav Bawa, Senior Vice President, WIKA India; Hemant Sarnot, Assistant Vice President, Production, WIKA India; VikramJeet Dhingra, Sales Head, WIKA India; and Viktor Oldenburger, Director – Nuclear Business, WIKA Group. The discussions covered WIKA India’s market expansion, digital transformation, and commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.  

Reflecting on WIKA’s journey in India, Gaurav Bawa, Senior Vice President, WIKA India, highlighted the company’s growth, stating, “Our journey in India has been driven by precision, innovation, and sustainability. We continue to invest in advanced manufacturing and impactful CSR initiatives. On digitalization, he added, “WIKA integrates IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and predictive maintenance.”

Discussing WIKA’s role in the power sector, Dhingra said, “Our ‘Redefining Energy’ campaign showcases WIKA’s expertise in power transmission and distribution, ensuring a more efficient and sustainable energy ecosystem.”

Hemant Sarnot emphasised WIKA Pune’s role in ‘Make in India,’ stating, “Localized production ensures superior quality, reduced lead times, and enhanced customer support.”

On India’s potential in the nuclear sector, Viktor Oldenburger remarked, “India’s expanding nuclear energy sector presents significant opportunities. WIKA is well-positioned to support this growth with high-precision instrumentation and safety solutions. Our advanced pressure and temperature measurement technologies ensure compliance with stringent industry standards, addressing critical challenges in this sector.”
