SCADA Systems: Plant-wide management, transfer lines synchronised assembly lines involves the application of SCADA systems. In order to have on-line control, information is exchanged between several control stations or else brought to the supervisor. Also an online logging is necessary in large production centre to avoid: Human error in data entry, Human delay in data entry and Delay in corrective action.
           
The system should help in: Implementing production planning with on-line knowledge of resources, Recipes and experience in the line correct, Current in Measurement of the input & output, Calculation of efficiency and Automatic recording of shift records.
