How are Marposs sensor solutions used to achieve efficiency and quality in the metal forming industry?

Marposs provides a range of products for the forming industry and cutting machine tools. Depending on the machine’s application needs, various sensors are positioned inside the device in certain ways. We can record, monitor, and amplify the entire process with the help of these sensors. In addition to being utilised in forming and stamping machines, it also records the indirect causes of machines and allows for process monitoring across the board. In essence, there are three areas we are concentrating on safeguarding the machine, safeguarding the tooling, safeguarding the dye and punches, and lastly, keeping an eye on the quality of the components to identify any flaws. We do this for mould formers, rolling machines, forging machines, forming machines, rolling machines, stamping machines, and casting solutions.

2012 Marposs acquired the German business Brankamp, which provides measuring solutions. And over more than ten years, we have created this product specifically for the Indian market. Since then, we have been selling directly and performing sales service and repair in India. Thus, we currently have over 400 applications successfully operating in India.

These machines are mostly used by thread welding machines and any board that manufactures fasteners. Our solution can help them optimise their process, raise their machine’s OEE, or enhance the cooling efficiency of die punches. They can also use it to create auto components and stamping machines.

What unique approaches does Marposs deploy to market its products?

Marposs participates in all relevant exhibitions. We provide product demonstrations to our customers. To give buyers a true sense of the product, we have a prototype that functions as a little demonstration process called a press. It can display the actual location of sensors and amplifiers. Furthermore, we are already making an effort to participate in the association’s events and are holding technical seminars. We have held technical seminars in Gurgaon, Rajkot, and Bombay. These seminars were in association with our partners, the European companies. We are working with them to combine our efforts to provide the finest solutions to our customers.
