ABB to enhance production of Century Cement’s plant

ABB has won an order worth $18 million to design, engineer and supply integrated automation and modern electrification systems for Century Cement’s Manikgarh Cement plant in Maharashtra. ABB’s delivery is part of a two line expansion and plant modernisation project that will add production capacity of 2.8 MT of cement per year, more than doubling its current production. The project also includes a 60 MW thermal power plant onsite. ABB will provide manufacturing technology to expand production capacity.
