By June 20, 2012 12:12 pm IST

Ador Welding Ltd, one of the pioneers in welding technology and products offering, has set up Ador Welding Academy (AWA) for imparting technical training to several professionals across the country and contributing significantly to the manufacturing industry. According to a statement released by the company, the board of Ador Welding has resolved to establish AWA as its subsidiary and to initially invest up to Rs. 300 lacs over a period.
The institute has been set up to meet the demand of every stakeholder in the welding sector who demands more, be it students who demand employability skills, industry skills and placement guarantees to corporates who demand holistic solutions to their welding problems instead of one off trainings. It was therefore felt that the concept of AIWT needs to undergo a radical change.
