Product portfolioThe company has in house facility of up to 10,000 mm long single setting honing and having good quality CNC turning and vertical machining centre. It has supplied the cylinders to various applications like earth moving, automobile, material handling, steel mills and special application like dam gates etc.
Canara’s manufacturing range is as given below:• Bore size –  from Ø40 mm to Ø800 mm• Stroke   – up to 8,500 mm• Pressure – up to 650 bar• Speed  –  0.4 metre/sec generally and 1 metre/sec specifically.“Our well qualified designed team having vast experience to design the cylinders on CAD system considers the customer requirements and parameters like pressure, speed, temperature, working media and application,” says Mr Shetty. “Being specific to the customers’ needs, we also manufacture and supply the cylinders with integrated cartridge valves.”

Most of its seal selections will be on ISO housings ensuring availability of seals at any given point of time. It uses CDS ST 52 tubes precisely honed to 0.3 to 0.4 microns Ra finish to ensure long service life. It selects EN8/C45 material for piston rods and are precisely ground and hard chrome plated to 25 to 30 microns to surface finish of 0.2 to 0.3 microns Ra, and in special  cases as need arises we select different materials for piston rods and heat treated to achieve the optimum service life.
Canara generally selects the seals from internationally reputed companies such as Parker, Hallite, Simrit, NOK, Hunger etc. Its products include cylinders for mobile and construction, cranes and construction, mining and concrete pumping. It also possesses telescopic cylinders, long stroke cylinders, rotary joints and power packs.
