FibroIndia inaugurated new plant at Chakan

FibroIndia Standard Parts Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of Fibro Gmbh, has inaugurated its new plant at Chakan MIDC phase –II   on 7th March. Fibro has been present in the Indian market for more than a decade and is an international brand for all standard parts for dies and moulds like guide pillars, bushes, die sets, cams, and gas springs etc. It also manufactures various sizes of high precision indexing tables for engineering applications in other division in Germany.Olaf Hedden, President & CEO of La¨pple AG, the parent company of Fibro Gmbh said, “Fibro is looking at Indian market seriously and is quite optimistic about it.”

Ju¨rgen Gurt, MD. of Fibro Gmbh said, “Fibro would expand the product range to be manufactured in FibroIndia so as to achieve the cost competitiveness.” He also mentioned that those products will be taken up for manufacturing in India which has potential of export of 50 per cent of volume.  This new plant has the built up area of 2000 square metre to accommodate the capacity enhancement in the near future to cater to the global market.
