 Gemsons Precision Engineering (P) Ltd., established in the year 1964, is an ISO 9001:2008 TUV-NORD certified manufacturer, supplier and exporter engaged in offering a wide range of precision CNC machined components and assemblies. It also has in house EDM, gun drilling, high precision welding and lapping services. It can machine complex parts in all types of grades including hi-nickel with accuracy, roundness and high surface finish. It has developed complete critical assemblies in production thereby providing its customers complete import substitution for critical components and sub-systems, some of which were earlier imported from Dupont-USA, Toray-Japan and Barmag-Germany.
Gemsons uses CAD/CAM technology to design, programme and stimulate the tool path data. Its parent company is a Toolroom which offers services in special toolings, gauges and jigs and fixtures. Gemsons offers custom made parts, CNC machining, hard part turning, surface modelling, quick prototyping, tool room facility, special toolings/ fixtures, in-house fitting and assembly, PMI, ultrasonic testing and CMM inspection, gun drilling, EDM wirecut, and laser marking etc.

It uses lean manufacturing techniques and quality tools like process capability Cpk, MSA, SMED, Gauge R and R, TPM. It redesigns the manufacturing layout to manufacturing cell type concept and JIT. The company also organises training programmes on a regular basis to enhance the skills of its workforce. Its quality equipment is a state-of-the-art with the latest in CNC CMM, profile projectors, digital height measuring stations with data controllers, surface roughness meters, PMI chemical analysers, ultrasonic crack testing, radiography for checking unwanted elements and air gauges for high tolerance parts.
The company specialises in stainless steel and hi nickel component machining, turnmill facility, 5-axis machining, hard part turning : HRC 60+,  machining of pressure die-cast components, complex investment casting parts, manufacture of precision machined parts, ferrous and non-ferrous forged and machined components, ultra precision turning within 3 microns and manifolds and fittings.

It aims to focus on higher end machines like the 5-axis machining and turnmill operations to target the niche market.
Its main goal is to shift to a new tactility so that it can have a state-of-the-art machine shop with good layout and cell type lean concept. It will also focus on exhibitions to showcase its expertise and broaden the customer base and look forward to have tie-ups and joint ventures. The company believes that it would help in bringing in new customers and it can offer a one stop solution to customers with shorter lead times and better prices.
