Honeywell introduces technology solutions for critical plant operations

Automation and process control provider Honeywell introduced quite a few innovative technology solutions for critical plant operations. The solutions, which can be customised to a plant’s individual needs, were introduced at the Honeywell India Users Summit, held on October 21-22, in Mumbai.
Themed “Safe. Reliable. Profitable.,” – the summit introduced participants to the latest trends, technologies and best-practices in process control and automation to improve business performance, including cyber security assessments, plant audit services and a premium platform for Experion Virtualisation Solutions. Amitava Biswas, general manager, Honeywell Process Solutions India said, “With increasing connectivity, there is an immediate need for cyber security solutions that take a logical approach to managing the industrial IT lifecycle from assessment to assurance. At the same time, generating cost savings by using next generation solutions like virtualisation is more important than ever.”
