NNG and ANS launch PND in India

NNG and Ayana Navigation Solutions (ANS) have launched the Personal Navigation Device (PND) designed for Indian roads. ANS Navigator A-501 device, a 5-inch model, runs on the iGO primo software by NNG. The device is fitted with Integrated Quick Search (IQS) feature. IQS offers a search mechanism that allows the driver to program his destination by entering no more than the first 3 letters of his destination, the software starts searching simultaneously across all available databases such as POIs, favourites, point addressing and more.

Amit Sharma, Director at ANS India, while launching the device said, “Our aim has always been to offer innovative navigation solutions that enhance the driving experience. We’re positive that the new ANS Navigator device with iGO primo brings real value to every car.”The new PND will be available in car dealerships, retail channels and aftermarket accessory stores from October this year and entry level device will cost around Rs 9,000 whereas high end device costs around Rs 17,000.
