 TESPA as it originally got its name from the abbreviation of ‘Technocrat Engineered Special Production Accessories’ is a group of professionally managed companies founded in the year 1974. Mr Shetty comments on what Tespa has to offer in the field of robotics and also the company strength.
Over the periodOver the years, Tespa group has been providing business solutions in the areas of manufacturing, process automation, robotics and information technology. Tespa group’s activities encompass products in diverse categories. These categories remain the chief focus areas and the entire set-up is reorganised into strategic business units that concentrate on specific areas of activity.

Major contributionTespa’s robotic application engineering strength involves areas like, spot welding, arc welding, handling, ultrasonic welding automation, pick and place, machine tending, robot based assembly automation, robot based vision applications, sealing, glass transfer, heavy pay load handling, handling applications. Also it is in press tending, robot based sculpture making, robot based hemming, robotics integrated seam welding for car body and fuel tanks etc.
