Petrozavodsk Branch of AEM-Technologies, JSC manufactured 4 guide vanes for reactor coolant pump set (RCPS) housings.

Petrozavodsk Branch of AEM-Technologies, JSC (a member of Atomenergomash, machine engineering division of Rosatom Corporation, and Karelian Regional Branch of the Russian Engineering Union) manufactured 4 guide vanes for reactor coolant pump set (RCPS) housings for power unit No. 5, Kudankulam NPP (India).

Each guide vanes consists of upper and lower discs, between which 13 guide blades are welded. The vanes are fixed in the pump housing and designed to direct coolant flow inside the pump. Petrozavodskmash carried out welding operations for these items. The assembly units are to be machined afterwards.
