LRT launches new model of Flame & Plasma cutting machines [ Feb 2012]

LRT, a group company of reputed Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW), has launched a new model of flame and plasma cutting machines at IMTEX 2012. Situated in Coimbatore, LRT was incorporated in the year 1974 and had started its subcontract activities in the field of machining and fabrication in the year 1978. Over the years, it has been offering its facilities to various industry segments. The factory premise occupies an area of 10,500 sqm and the build up space for machine building and subcontracting activities.
At IMTEX 2012, LRT displayed its latest model of CNC profile cutting machines and had a live cutting demonstration of plasma and flame cutting at the stall. LRT’s machine was one of the highlights of the show and drew large crowds.
Special features of CNC profile cutting machine displayed are:• Heavy fabricated sturdy machine structure• Dual drive gantry axis & planetary gearbox for axis movement• Transverse guide rails made of LM guide ways and torch station parked on LM Guide gantry • Range of controller options to choose from • Extensive choice of options to configure CNC cutting system with speed, accuracy and competence to fulfil the cutting needs • Servo voltage controlled stabiliser for machine • Supporting legs for Longitudinal guide rails • Auto plate alignment in the controller helps to work with narrow plates this is a unique feature • In-built last memory interrupted point feature, takes the torch to the last point where machine got stopped during the power failure • Retrace facility – For taking the torch in reverse direction in the same cutting path• Drag chain conveyor system for longitudinal and transverse directions.
