Delta unveils automation Solutions for plastic industry at Plastivision 2023

Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, showcased its advanced automation solutions for the plastic industry at Plastivision 2023 in Mumbai, unveiling innovative products and emphasizing a commitment to efficiency and sustainability.

Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, showcased its cutting-edge range of intelligent automation solutions for the plastic industry at Plastivision 2023, held in Mumbai. The event served as a platform for Delta to unveil its comprehensive lineup of hybrid energy solutions aimed at enhancing energy efficiency across various applications.

As a pioneer in the field of automation, Delta’s presence at Plastivision 2023 was marked by the introduction of several innovative products and solutions, including a future-ready dedicated controller for plastic molding machines, single pump and double pump Hybrid Energy Storage (HES) packages, high torque direct drive motors (MST), AC Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) solutions customized for diverse applications in the plastic industry, a range of high-end Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Motion Controllers, High-Resolution Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), industrial power supplies, temperature controllers, and state-of-the-art pick and place robots. Among the highlights were the unveiling of the Area Sensor, Laser Displacement Sensor, GIGE Camera, and Linear Motors, signaling a significant expansion of Delta’s already extensive product portfolio.

Delta’s offerings at Plastivision 2023 included the spotlight on their Hybrid Energy Storage (HES) packages, featuring both single pump and double pump configurations. These HES packages are a testament to Delta’s commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, providing a reliable power source for plastic molding machines and other applications in the plastic industry.

In addition to the HES packages, Delta presented its high torque direct drive motor (MST) technology. This innovation offers enhanced precision, speed, and efficiency in the plastic manufacturing process, contributing to increased productivity and reduced energy consumption.

The AC Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) solutions showcased by Delta were tailored to address the diverse needs of the plastic industry. Furthermore, Plastivision attendees had the opportunity to explore Delta’s comprehensive range of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Motion Controllers, High-Resolution Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), industrial power supplies, temperature controllers, and state-of-the-art pick and place robots. These offerings are designed to empower manufacturers in the plastic industry with the latest advancements in automation technology, enabling them to optimize their processes and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market.

A pivotal announcement at Plastivision was the introduction of Delta’s Compact Multi-Drive MX300—an innovative AC Drive designed for controlling motors across diversified industrial automation sectors. Anticipated for availability by early to mid-2024, the MX300 features a unique design with one rectifier connecting to various modules to operate different motors.
