Explore cutting-edge machining solutions at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show from February 6-8, 2024. Visit XYZ at stands G260 and H260 to experience seven innovative machines, including the TMC toolroom series, RMX 2-OP, RMX 3500, and XYZ 800 HD VMC.
Machine tool manufacturer XYZ will be exhibiting seven machines on stands G260 and H260, all set up for cutting metal and demonstration, at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show 6th to 8th February 2024.
The recently introduced TMC toolroom machines from XYZ have been designed with low to medium volume and tool making applications in mind. These machines use the same platform and linear rails as the company’s LR VMC range combined with the ease of use of the Prototrak control, ideal for the rapid programming and setup of 1 off and small to medium quantity parts. The enclosed construction, automatic tool carousel and optional Traking hand wheels which allow the user to run forwards and backwards through the machining cycle deliver the advantages of a machining centre with the flexibility and quick turnaround of a bed mill such as the RMX 3500, which will also be there.
For flexible manufacture, the XYZ RMX 2-OP is the way to go. This machine forms part of a machining cell offering a quick and cost-effective solution for second operations to finish a part. The machine is easily moved and setup within an hour so is a fast way of reconfiguring a workshop to meet changing demand.

For turning, XYZ considers the differing requirements for low and high-volume parts. The XYZ Proturn RLX 355 is a solution for low to medium volumes, featuring the Prototrak control, it is a fast way of getting parts cut in a machine that offers 1,000 mm between centres. For more parts, the XYZ CT 52 LR turning centre gives 52 mm bar capacity and has linear rail technology and Siemens 828D.
