Mr. V. Sekar is Chief General Manager-R&D, BEML Bangalore for 31 years. He is BE from University of Madras; ME-Production from Bharadiyar University, Coimbatore. He is involved in design of heavy equipment, power train & hydraulic aggregates such as transmission, torque converter, final drive, hydraulic cylinders, gear pumps, hydro pneumatic suspensions etc. He received ‘Society of Defence Technologists (SODET) award; Technology &Innovation Award; NRDC Innovation award. He has patents for ‘A control system for Automatic Transmission’ and filed 58 patents as R&D team head.
