Make manufacturers aware about the incentivesTo make the most of the ‘Make in India’ campaign the Indian manufacturers need to be first told about the programmes and the incentives being offered under it. Until and unless the government focuses on the upliftment of the MSME sector and aiding them, not only financially but also increase their knowledge bank, majority of the manufacturers would not get advantage out of it.
Low cost & availability of skill helps India to be preferableIndia as a country is very diverse. It can offer one whatever it wants along with its diversity and variety. The Indian population is the second largest consumer itself and majority of the economy is self sustaining and not dependent on exports only. Also the low cost of operations and availability of skill is helping India in becoming a preferred destination.
Lack of awarenessMajor roadblock to ‘Make in India’ is information available as to what the government is supporting on, what kind of incentives one is going to get from the government of India.
Jaycee’s initiative towards ‘Make in India’Jaycee Strips & Fastners is in to three different verticals of manufacturing i.e. components, agri machinery and earth moving attachments for the tractors. It is trying to bring in the latest in farm and earth moving machinery for the Indian tractor users through continuous in-house research and trying to bring down the cost of ownership and bring new ideas or open new avenues where the farmers or tractor owners can use to generate extra income by using the same tractor for various applications.
This has helped the company in bringing a young team of designers and engineers working on concept and bringing them to reality. It is getting a good response for the same products in Africa and Asian countries and hopefully it will deliver the products which are made in India to the world.
